Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic week! I've been having a pretty good week, though my arms are killing me ! Haven't done a photoshoot in a few weeks, and to be honest I'm not sure when I will have my next one! I might be getting a puppy this weekend, so you can obviously expect pictures of it if I do! The group les beaux arts is now hosting its first contest!
he theme is fairytale

rules:
participating is only possible if you're a member. if you're not just become one!
you are only allowed to submit TWO deviations to the contest folder!
you can only win with ONE deviation
only photographs, mainps and literature is allowed.
the deviations can be old or new.

On monday, my friend Leah and I will be having a shoot that we will actually be sending off to a possible future client. And then my next shoot will be with a brand new model! I know, I know, I'm a little late! Yesterday, my 10 year old dog died of a stroke. I came home to my mother and sister surrounding her lifeless body. I cried all day. I went to sleep early. I had a wonderful dream about photography. Long, flowy dresses dancing in the wind, water. It was beautiful, I wish every picture had been real. I realized this morning why I had that dream. No matter how much Lady HATED having her picture taken (I think its because of the flash) she would give up in the end and let me take some. When I'd tell her she was done, she would get up and run away. I know this might sound crazy to you all, but I think Lady wants me to become a better photographer.

So that's my new years resolution: become a better photographer.

I'm going to:
Do has MANY shoots as I can
Try new angles
Try new lighting
Try new themes

I'm going to TRY!

Anyway, sorry for that slightly depressing journal! I have exams till next wednesday, but I think thursday I have a shoot, so expect new things then! I'm going to get a bunch of stuff today (hopefully!)

So what's your new years resolution?
